October 15 – Building 25 Lecture Hall, DFC, Ballot Issues, Initiatives and Referendums presented by the Jeffco League of Women Voters. One of our most popular meeting topics and presenters, the League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, has fought since 1920 to improve our systems of government and impact public policies through citizen education and advocacy.

November 19 Building 25 Lecture Hall, DFC, Do you have Glossophobia? Glossophobia is a Fear of Public Speaking and is experienced by as much as 75% of the population.  We’ll have tips on how to conquer your fear and speak with confidence.

December 5 Holiday Social-Toasting with the Stars for members and guests.  Networking, Dinner, Drinks, and the “back by popular demand” ‘Not-So-Silent’ Auction will cap off the evening.  Everyone is invited to come out and have fun supporting the DFC Chapter!

August 20 – Building 85, DFC Identify Theft presented by the Social Security Administration Speaker’s Bureau.  Identity theft is much more than misuse of a Social Security number-it can also include credit card and mail fraud. April 17, 2023 – Pursue Excellence!: 2008 Rocky Mountain Regional Training Program April 17, 2023. The Regional Training Program will be held at the Women’s College, University of Denver. Take advantage of this incredible local training value!

April 18, 2023 – FEW Friday The Rockies at the Denver Federal Center, Building 25. A very special session designed just for FEW member. Plan to spend the day learning about leadership, networking, career advancement, diversity and ending discrimination. These subjects will be discussed using FEW as the framework.

March 19, 2023 – Is It Time for a Career Road Trip? Presented by Sue O’Donnell, Ph.D. Office of Personnel Management, Western Management Development Center. When’s the last time you really sat down and took inventory? Are there gaps in where you are, and where you want to be, or where you thought you’d be at this point in your career? Why the difference? February 20, 2023 – Call to Action Part III – “Citizen Activism Does Make A Difference” Polly Baca, Executive Director, Latin American Research and Service Agency (LARASA), Former Colorado State Senator and Former GSA Regional Administrator for Region VIII returns to complete our legislative call to action series.

January 16, 2023 – A Warm Federal Center Welcome to our New Neighbors – the DFEB. We invite you to meet the new neighbors….the Denver Federal Executive Board (DFEB). Executive Director, Larry Grandison, will give a short presentation about the DFEB and an overview of the many different Federal Agencies in the Denver area.
